Your song structure is great here! I might cut down on the basic sine synths if you know what I mean. The different sounds aren't standing out from each other enough.
As usual, I think your melodies are extremely interesting! The drum beat was pretty sweet too. You stereoized the drum well, and you did sufficiently to some of the synths. But I think in the main sections, you should stereoize the many harmonies you have going.

Wow, you have quite a grasp on...good music, I dunno. This is great! Good grief, the melodies and harmonies are simply excellent!
I love the percussion too. Man, this is great...I can honestly not find much wrong with it.
I think you have a new fan!

KrushRhythmics responds:

Thanks means a lot to know someone likes it. I kinda like the feel it turned out to have but can't quite figure out where I'd like this song to be.

Hey, I love the way this started! Grabbed me right away--made me feel like I was in the rolling hills of Ireland or something! I'm sorry it's just a loop, and I wish you would expand this. For what it is, it's quite enjoyable, and if you made it loop more smoothly, this would go very well as background music.
Excellent!

KrushRhythmics responds:

Yes. This will eventually end up being ... something. It's the middle part of a whole new challenge for me as I want to venture a bit in this type of ambiant.

Thanks for listening.

Pretty typical chords. Cool ones at that. It had a nice vibe to start. I liked that synth melody at 1:00. It progressed pretty decently, and I like how you returned to the intro vibe with that soft pluck, and then brought the main synth back in to tie it all together.
All this to say, the song was really well organized, and pretty solid rhythm choice too.

Everratic responds:

Thankyou for the review!

First, I like the main melody!
Second, I like how you built those harmonies on it and started to build it up. I understand this is video game music, so I guess the fact that it's short is acceptable. I kind of think you should continue what you have though, and move into a double time melody. I think the 8 bit sound is good. Idk if I like the percussion sound though. It's maybe just a little too fuzzy and the tail a little too long.
Not bad though, just not defines enough.
Nice!

What a lovely piece! The instrument levels, such as the trombone volume when it first entered, could be a little more balanced. I get the idea this wasn't really "mixed" though.
Like I said, the music in this is just nice! Did you write this?? If so, I have to say 5 stars on the composition! The trombonist was a little outta tune a couple times, but that gives it that raw feeling, and you can't help that a whole lot.
Recording quality aside this is an excellent performance!

rluebbert responds:

Thanks! This is one of my original compositions. I recorded this at a live performance on my field recorder, so there were probably quite a few nerves involved.

Idk about that intro...I like it when the melodies really pick up though!
Creepy poem, bro...definitely got a cool vibe. I guess you need a movie to go with it maybe...haha
I really like the vibe of this! Pretty creative!

Took a little while to get interesting. bit of a glitch at 0:34?
a little too disorganized at 50.
Not a bad drop though. I think there should be an overall increase in connectedness in this song, but it seems you were going for a chaotic theme, perhaps...
liked the 2:00 part especially
Nice one!

FI5H responds:

Ya this tune got to the point where the little things that you pointed out i eventually just stopped caring about, I dig the feedback though!

Um...look, this is alright...but it's pretty empty most of the time.
the drops are boring. The synth at 2:05 was pretty cool, but that's about the best it got.
Add more transitioning tools like cymbols, sweeping atmosphere sounds, you get the gist.
Listen to more dubstep tracks, because it seems you need to fill so many frequencies, have so much more variation of sound, and much more engaging transitions.

It's decent--and fantastic for a second attempt! Compared to really good dubstep though, this just isn't that good.
Musically, there's not much to it. The bass really is a little boring. Sounds like a Harmor preset bass...(key word there being "preset" =P)
Nice for a beginner, but please don't let your creative drive stop here!
