I have to agree that the automation tempo change just does not belong in this song at all. Coincidentally, I just started playing around with it myself. But, the way yours starts fast and then gets slow and then gets fast again is just pointless. If you want to try starting slow then increasing it gradually while simultaneously bringing the song to a crescendo, you might pull it off, but the way you've done it seemed very unappealing.
I think the first kick you used is too loud and the second one a little too quiet. So, find a good in-between and use it throughout the entire song. I like the melody and the sounds, the only thing you need to work on is the mechanics of your song.
Keep working at it! : D Don't feel too discouraged.

oh ok i will do my best to fix problemes thanks for ur review :) . i will try

I like the strangeness of it all. Epic, yet high pitched leads that make it really suspenseful. Cool. :D

Step responds:

Yeah this one's a strange one haha. Not really in my best genre; I'm better at making orchestral stuff like Sanctuary, but still, I love to delve into other genres sometimes.

Thanks for leaving a comment!

Wow, I'm blown away by this! The instrumentation is quite amazing. I really love this genre, but haven't picked up the skill yet to create such masterpieces. I'm really fascinated by the realism you've essentially created. The thing that was a little odd was the way the harps faded in at each transition. I'm no harpist, but it did seem a bit extreme.
That's just me picking at something. I honestly found it nothing more than a little odd and intriguing.
I'll just say this is way outta my league and I really enjoyed it. :)
Good luck on the competition! --or is it already over?

Step responds:

Haha the competition has been over for nearly a year :P. I didn't place in the Top 8 but there were lots of incredible submissions in the competition so while I was pretty disappointed, I couldn't really argue!

Not sure what you mean about the harp, although naturally I'm not a harpist either so I can't be sure what's possible to play on a harp and what's not. Still, I did try my best to make it all sound realistic.

Anyway, I'm flattered; very glad you liked the track. Thanks for such a supportive review, and good luck with your own music!

Your music has a lot of depth, and your sounds are great! I think you should try leaving the techno box a bit with your beats and bass. Just a thought. : )

TastyTeo responds:

I might experiment but get away from Techno .. hell no :D Thanks for the review

I really like this. Wow. This deserves a five star rating, man! I'm not even listening on my good headphones, and the sounds are pretty amazing. A little repetitive near the end, but nothing too out of the norm. Nice work. :D

gavkay21 responds:

Glad your digging it dude going to work on it some more and extend it might even get a dubstep part in it

Wow, impressive! I've been listening to your music for a while. What VST do you use?

HonorOfStyle responds:

Back when I made this song, I had just gotten some of the Nucleus Sound Lab packages from the FL Studio homepage. The ones I used in this song were the Ambient Drums and OB Resurrection add-on's.

Nice melody you have going here! I really enjoy the "liquid piano" sound! The drums mod Y was a bit much at the beginning, but my ears gave a relieved sigh when the beat went solid-- maybe that was the intention.
sometimes the sounds were just too many, all doing the same melody. It made the parts where there was less sound very dramatic.
Also, nice strings. I like.
So, what program do you produce with?

OfficialRoflMonster responds:

Thanks for the feedback man. I like how you pointed out what was wrong in my song.
And I use FL Studios 10 mate :)

It wasn't bad. The sounds were kind of disconnected. It didn't really draw you in. I listened to the whole thing though. It could have used more variation--I know it was only a preview, but it sounds like the whole song only had a few different patterns.
Nice work, keep trying! :D

isaiasmx responds:

Wow! I heard one of your remixes a while back, and I loved it. This is not much different, except for the way you did the whole intro was insanely calm and cool. the one I heard sounded like a ticking clock. I like the strings you added.
I wouldn't say creepy so much as fast paced intense. Idk though.
really cool and epic work.

Solkrieg responds:

I think you heard my second dubstep remix of this song. Thanks for the review!

What does GCSE stand for, btw?
