I love the song concept. The melodies and rhythm are a really good combination. However, the pluck that comes in at 15s is just not well placed as far as volume, tone and steroization. The bass is a also a little too...messy down there. It sounds good in the chorus, but not so much in the intro and bridge. Fun song!

A genuine feel to this song! I really love the suspenseful leading sounds and melodies for the intro. I get the feeling this song is going to be a constant build up--until around 2 minutes, then it seems the theme will kick in. I think there could have been a little more presence or more of a powerful lead sound whenever the beat finally took full form. I get the bass is more of a focus, but I still believe the melody there after 2 minutes needs more musical "meat" so to speak...instead of being this sort of hesitant modulating lead sound just layered on top. A really solid work, but I think it could be a little more interesting when the chorus/theme comes in. Come to think of it, a more apparent theme might be what it needs.
Great work!

this is the best song ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First, cool intro. Wasn't expected, and captured a good vibe. The bass or wub, whatever you call it, was a little too squeaky and could have used at least some lower frequencies. Plus, the sound just isn't that unique.
It works alright, but that's more my personal opinion.
I think the chords were exceptional, and the piano played it out nicely to the end.
Great song. Oh, and the drums sounded sharp to me also, so nice job!

I really really like the scratch-like lead in the intro. You must be proud of it! This has all a pretty good ambiance to it. The drop was a little too loud maybe? That's up to preference--I imagine you wanted to have a bit of the surprise factor there.
The piano bit was fantastic! I think the glitched out voice's high frequencies were a little too interfering, but a cool idea all the same.
Neat track! I'll have to check more of your stuff out in the future!

Thank you :D
I really love doing that scratch-lead type thing in a lot of my songs, and at the same time, I'm kind of like "I wish I started doing it of my own volition, rather than because I didn't know how to do real scratching" haha.
I do agree, the voice track was up a little high, and the drop was a little loud in respect to the drum track, too. I'd ascribe that to staying up late and working on it in sections with the volume down on my speakers really low, so I didn't end up looking at it overall really in too much detail until the morning after I published it. But I might resubmit an amended track~
Thanks for the review~

I'm initially taken by the unique percussive intro! I dig it.
I really like the orchestral aspect too. The tone of the song is very reminiscent of Super Smash bros soundtrack, so I appreciate that dedication. I don't really have anything to complain about. It played the part well. If there's one thing I would maybe perfect it would be the precision of the live instruments. Basically, just make them sound more natural and sensitive.
Nice job!

Not really a fan of your intro--those guitars sound really good to me though! The kick could be a little less deep and muddy, but I suppose it is alright. The melodies and progression of the song aren't too engaging, but the song has an easy going pleasantness to it.

As the previous viewer said, the sounds are impressive. The only sound that bothers me a little is the bass sound. It distorts a little at times, having some excessive frequencies. I like the sounds that resemble a piano. Very cool.
The taste of your sound is present. I believe I detect the same sort of melodies here as in some of your others. That's not bad; I just think your sound is unique and notable to you.
I really like this one

I feel your distress, man. I'll have to look into Ozu. I hope you find your thing. There are lots of different ways to work out a music creating hobby/dream. Try to find the people who will appreciate your work in the ways it ought to be, and find the people who actually know where to criticize, and not just complain about unconventionality or some personal preference.
I like the sound of this track. the beat is always on edge, which I think is pretty cool.
I would say your layering is pretty effective, because I often don't even notice it.
I missed the cool melodies in this one :(
I have to call this elevator music. Good elevator music at that. ;)

This was pretty funky! Not one of my favorites, but I did think the pauses were creative, and gave that sense of "hold up!" ya know. I think the bass is overwhelming, but that could be my end. Over all I think the stereo of the synthesizers was not strategically placed. I think you panned everything out, when you should have kept the drums or the lead centered imo.
Nice one!

Thanks for your input and ideas.. I was thinking about how your tracks pan drums in the center which kind of grounds the piece.. in this one I guess it sounds way different on headphones vs speakers.. i'm thinking about how it's different..
